Rom-Coms worth watching

Trash movies are my life. Rarely do I watch movies that others rave about. The hidden chick flicks on Netflix are what speak to my soul. I watch movies to feel better about my life, which is why light-hearted films are made for me. Also what’s wrong with chick flicks? Who out here is still trying to shame Katherine Heigl films? It’s 2017. Don’t be such a movie-snob. It’s about time rom-coms get the recognition they deserve. However, there are some rom-coms considered classics that just didn’t do it for me; how to lose a guy in 10 days (it grossed me out), 13 going on 30 (gave me anxiety), Breakfast at Tiffany’s (too slow). So here’s a list of movies worth watching next time the gang gets together.

Crazy, Stupid, Love

Ryan Gosling? Emma Stone? Steve Carell? This movie can do no wrong.

27 Dresses

A CLASSIC. CUE BETTYYYY AND THE JETS.

Pretty Woman

Why don’t schools require you to watch this film.

The Proposal

boy and girl *hate* each other until they realize they love each other ~

This Means War

If it has Chris Pine I will watch it and I will love it!!!!

Friends with Benefits

I couldn’t find a single flaw in this film. Not one. Zip. Nada.

No Strings Attached

A boneless friends with benefits that was still worth the watch

What Happens in Vegas

haha it was lighthearted

The Holiday

My favorite holiday movie.

Trainwreck

A lot of people criticized this movie, but I laughed the entire time. Amy Schumer doesn’t do it for me, but this movie does.

Princess Diaries 2

My heart swells every time.

Stuck in Love

A realistic film that I appreciated. It’s on Netflix so you have no excuse not to watch it.

Drive Me Crazy

This movie was clichè in every way but I truly loved it.

La La Land

Sure it was the white version of a Bollywood movie but it won all those awards for a reason.
